I am rather involved in training not because I think I have loads to share but I do it so that I can learn faster and also to learn from those I train. It is also from training that I will be able to influence others and create a network of friends from around the world where some of them become my long term customers and partners in my Asset Management business therefore I don't run trainings on property investment or asset management. Instead, I design and run trainings based on the experience gained from the trainings that I have attended and most importantly from my failures and success in people management, leadership, sales and marketing.
In my corporate training, my signature programs for the past 12 years are only:
A 5-day program developed by PSMB which is part of the Ministry of Human Resource. This is a certification program to ensure that all trainers are equipped with the knowledge to develop and train corporate programs effectively. I have been running this program monthly for almost a decade and have certified over 1100+ participants.
A 2-day program where I will be sharing tricks and techniques taken from my best-selling book as these tricks are commonly used by others during negotiation. Learnt quite a fair bit when most of these tricks were used on me by others in business.
I hated having to speak in front of a crowd especially during my I.T days. I just wanted to end my presentation as soon as possible and I truly suffered until I learnt that there are a lot of tricks and science in presenting. This 2-day program will give the participants sufficient techniques and the simple science on how the audience brains work during a presentation and how you can influence them.
Most of my training for SMEs centres around the topic of Referral Marketing and the organization that I am involved with to conduct these trainings is BNI.
This is a global organization where I have taken different roles in the last 15 years including being the President, Assistant Director, National Trainer, Executive Director and a member of the Founder's Circle.
In the last 12 months, this organization passed US$16.7B worth of business through referrals.
